Circle Command in AutoCAD - How to Draw circle in AutoCAD?
What is Circle?
A round plane figure whose boundary (circumference) consists of points equidistant from a fixed point (center).
Circle Command:
The shortcut key for circle command is "C". You can also access to circle command by clicking this icon.
There are different options/ways to draw a circle in AutoCAD. The default one is the center, radius. Other options/ways written as below:
- Center, Radis
- Center, Diameter
- 2-Point
- 3-Point
- Tangent, Tangent, Radius
- Tangent, Tangent, Tangent
Center, Radius:
First, you need to specify the center point of a circle then specify the radius of your circle with a keyboard or with the help of mouse.
The above circle draws with a center, radius. Its radius is 10.
Center, Diameter:
First, you need to specify the center point of your circle then specify the diameter of your circle with a keyboard or with the help o mouse.
The above circle draws with a center, diameter. Its diameter is 10 units.
2-Point:
Specify the first point of your circle. That first point on the circumference of a circle. Then specify the second the point of the circle. That second point, also on the circumference of a circle.
3-Point:
Draw a circle based on three points on the circumference same as 2-Point.
Tangent, Tangent, Radius:
Draw a circle with specified radius tangent to two objects.
First, specify the two tangents and then specify the radius of a circle.
Tangent, Tangent, Tangent:
Create a circle tangent to three objects.
