ARC Command: ARC: Arc is part of a curve, especially a part of the circumference of a circle. Command: The shortcut key of ARC command is "A". You can also access ARC command by clicking this icon There are different options/ways to draw ARC in AutoCAD. The default one is 3-point. Other options/ways written as below: 3-Point Start, Center, End Start, Center, Angle Start, Center, Length Start, End, Angle Start, End, Direction Start, End, Radius Center, Start, End Center, Start, Length Continue 3-Point: In 3-Point, you need to specify three points with the help of a mouse or keyboard. These three points are on the circumference. Start, Center, End: First, specify the starting point of the arc then center and then the endpoint of the arc. Start, Center, Angle: The first point you specify on the screen is the starting point. Then you need to specify the center point as above and then give the angle to give direction. Star

Difference between Line and Polyline (Pline): The Line and Polyline are two commands with different properties in AutoCAD. In Line Command every time we click, the part between two points.  The Line Command allows you to create a single straight line or a chain of straight lines.  When we select a polyline it selected as a whole object. On the other side when we select Line it is selected as a single line segment.  We can edit Polyline with " PEDIT Command ". On the other side, there is no specific command to edit line. Pline Command can draw curve segments as well as line straight ones but Line Command can draw only line segments. A polyline can have width but a line has no width. After drawing a polyline, you can use the PEdit Command to reshape the polyline into a smooth, flowing curve based on the vertex points you selected but you cannot do this with the line. Polyline Command Polyline: A polyline is a connected sequence of segments created as a single planer object. You can create straight line segments, arc segments or a combination of two. Polyline is also called PLINE and short form of pline is PL. You can also access Polyline command by clicking this icon. You can also modify polyline. There are some modifications as below: Arc Close  Halfwidth Length  Undo Width Sets the starting point for polyline If you specify the second point, you draw line segments. Limits: Limits set an invisible rectangular boundary in the drawing area that can limit the grid display and limit clicking or entering points locations. The short form of the limit command is "lim".  Type "limits" or "lim" and press enter or spacebar. Specify upper right and lower left corners. Lower left corner: It specifies the lower left corner for the drawing limits. Upper right corner: It specifies a point in drawing area that represents the opposite corner of the rectangular limits boundary. Consider you have to draw a plot of length 20 units and width 10 units. In order to show that plot in your drawing, we can mark it as limits. While putting limits we can give the coordinates of the lower left corner as zero comma zero (0,0) and upper right corner as 20 comma 10 (20,10).
